Today is the festival of light..... a public holiday.... n so is thursday, hari raya pussa... but tml , i got to go back to work .... dunno whether i should be happy as there are 2 holidays this week n i dun have to work so much .... but the fact is that , when holiday , ppl tend to take leave.... and since there are 2 holidays so close to each other... more ppl will take more leaves... n those that have not much leave or are slow in applying the leave will have to work extra hard.... and since its a public holiday... more customer will be coming in to get their watches, be it for repair or be it for collection... cos its the time when they are more free... n so of course, being in the customer service line, our work load will increase ..... with shortage of man power n increase in the customer walking in => staffs working over time to complete the jobs.... haiz... n for those that have no overtime claim( ppl like mi), i got to stay back unpaid with the ppl that are staying back paid............ so sad....... haiz.... wat to do ..... thats life in the customer service... haha
anyway, today, i went off with juv and his sister to go shop shop .... i'm so into finding an international costume thingy for my annual dinner n dance that i got them to accompany mi to places to find my stuff... n the whole stupid thing is all the shop i'm looking for are having HOLIDAY as well ... so they are all closed.... n that means , we are walking like mad in the hot sun to places that are closed..... haha.. but at least, i got some info and know that there are international costume that i can rent there.. .haha.. hehe.....
while i was waiting for juv at kallang mrt , i saw this father n son setting up their newspaper stall... the boy look like he is in upper sec the most .... he seen really bored... probably becos he got to spend his holiday helping his father to look after the newspaper stall... seeing the boy n the father, memories flow through my mind...i thought about the times that i used to help my mum in the newspaper stall too when i'm young...... the time when i when straight to her stall after school in the evening time .. n doing my homework while looking after the stall.... come to think about it ... the stall now dun even have to serve the customer driving as their stall is not near the road side.... i remember that i have to serve the driver , do my work... n got sell the papers every weekend ... haha.. those was the days man .... but of course, there are more varieties in the magazines nowsaday, so they have to look after more stuff now... i remember the time when i got free magazine to read..... haha....... life is hard, but it seems so so good n care free.........
anyway.... i cant wait for my annual dinner n dance man ...... really thinking of wat costume to wear so i can be the best dressed... as i dunno wat other will be wearing ... i just dun wan to wear the same thing as others... so thinking of wearing something unique n not muz ppl will wear.. was thing of korean hanbok... but i afraid its too common...n many will wear... haiz headache... anyone have any idea to share... hehe
